Organic Coconut Flour- A Healthy, Gluten Free-High Fibre Choice
Our coconut flour is made from the meat of only the choicest, fresh organic coconuts. These coconuts are then shaved of all the brown skin. While this seems trivial, it makes our flour pure snow-white, unlike most other brands on the market. Yes, it takes more time, but our dedication to quality means that we go the extra mile for you :)
This cleaned coconut meat is then dried, de-fatted and finely ground into a powder very similar in consistency to wheat cake & pastry flour. It is very soft and "cakey", and contains no gluten, or structure. As such, it is not recommended to use 100% for making breads and things that require this stability. As a rule of thumb, we recommend you use it in a ratio of 15-25% in place of other flours in "most" standard recipes.
